To support the new PIMS, you would need to have the following extra cases: case 'PAdd': return NSClassFromString(@"PPContactsDatabase"); case 'PTod': return NSClassFromString(@"PPTasksDatabase"); case 'PDat': return NSClassFromString(@"PPCalendarDatabase"); case 'PMem': return NSClassFromString(@"PPMemosDatabase"); #Note the Memo*s*, which differentiates it from the older MemoDatabase The original source files .h and .m could be used as a base and copied into the new PIM types files (.h and .m), and modified to support the new PIM fields and sizes. This will also impact the Palm UI stuff, and that will need to be modified. Then the whole thing could be re-built to support the latest pilot-link, which is now http://www.pilot-link.org/pilot-link-0.12.2 David A. Desrosiers is a good resource for help on that, and for some information on the PIM DB structures (hacker@gnu-designs.com) Palm has some stuff in their developer program that covers the new PIM db's as well (and it's a free registration). Hope this helps! Sorry I can't help more on this: I'm a troubleshooter dammit, not a programmer ;-) /Mike ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. Since OGo is essentially useless without a database is seems like these SQL files should be included in ogo-logic or ogo-environment (or some other low-level package) essential to OGo. But not executed by those packages. The advantage of ogo-database-setup is that it can be installed on a different server than the OGo server itself - but most sites doing such a thing very probably have advanced PostgreSQL setups anyway. Seems reasonable to just have ogo-database-setup either just use the required files as temporary files - not leaving them behind anywhere - or to depend on ogo-logic (or whatever provides the files) and to assume that advanced users can figure out how to scp the appropriate files to their database server on their own; thus only recommend ogo-database-setup for basic installations. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. We don't have that for QP. Well and in the specific HTML sample we don't use base64, the relevant section is RFC2822, 3.5: A message consists of header fields, optionally followed by a message body. Lines in a message MUST be a maximum of 998 characters excluding the CRLF, but it is RECOMMENDED that lines be limited to 78 characters excluding the CRLF. I'm not entirely sure what the generator is supposed to do when it gets content with long lines (can content lines get folded?). Probably we would switch to base64 with the line length limit. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. In mails NUL Chars are allowed In IMAP NUL Chars aren't allowed the above is normally no problem because all modern mailers use mime encoding. Cyrus enforces IMAP standards and breaks MAIL standards by that. Thats a known problem. The problem of OGO clearly is, that MIME encoding is broken. - mixed line endings (\n\r and \n) which should be mime quoted - lines to long, this can be fixed in postfix if the max line length is limited, smtp_line_length_limit=990, but it clearly a bug - also mass mailing with ogo suffer from the mixed line endings, i submitted a bug 1-2 years ago.. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. So this is not yet working for objects using LSWObjectViewer.m, should I add the same there too? I am not sure whether it is really needed there. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. I'll ask Nico to verify this accordingly. @Nico - please verify accordingly!
