I'm using the debian packages of the svn-trunk version (currently svn 1949)

LSUseBasicAuthentication = YES in ogo-webui-1.1

OGo r1950, SOPE 4.6 r1476

I do see the "unable to parse browser config string" message when I log in; but
subsequently everything seems to work fine; I tested the appointment creation
panels (using the default theme).

It looks like I've had those browser-config-string messages for a long time. At
least since January.
