Description of problem:
There was a bug in 
<sope source>/sope-ical/NGiCal/iCalWeeklyRecurrenceCalculator.m

If you wanted to create a appointment with the following RRULE:
RRULE:FREQ=WEEKLY;INTERVAL=4;UNTIL=20081231;BYDAY=MO,TU,WE,TH,FR

You got an appointment for every monday until the recurrence-enddate.
But there should be an appointment every 4 week from MO to FR.

The problem also seems to happen, when the appointment is edited by the 
creator, and the appointment is a cycled (repeating) appointment.

its me, whooha,

when you upgraded between 1.1.3 and now have 1.1.7, On IRC I thought you only
upgraded from 1.1.6 to 1.1.7, but that obviously was only your latest upgrade ;)
I think the database encoding changed from latin-1 to utf-8. have you dumped
your database, and recoded it from latin-1 to utf-8 ? If not, then I assume this
seems to be your problem.



I've setup another server to test it. Dumped the database and verified that all
the reccords are UTF-8, also done a iconv on it.

Same, except that it crash now on a x86 server too, when searching for an
enterprise.

no exception ;)

Description of problem:
appointments around noon show up at the end of the list in the 
 evening. 

This problem seems to arise only in the week overview, for 
the all intranet team. With smaller teams, the problem goes away, also when using a day view, or month view, then the problem goes away. Also when switching from the default week view, to a different one, makes the problem go away.

I have seen the problem with a 64Bit OGo, and with the same database contents on a 32Bit OGo.

Appointments on the evening do not show up in the morning, and appointment in the morning do not show up in the evening. The wrong order is only withing either of them.

The bug seems to be somehow triggered by a correlation of number of members in a team, appointments per day, and time an appointment was created.

I'll append a screenshot, showing the mixed up times.

DTEND value should be 20071129 instead of 20071130 because this event does not
span two days but one.

The error has been verified with Mozilla Firefox and by syncing OGo with Nokia
phones and Outlook. The error causes Outlook and Nokia S60 phone calendars to
see this event as a two-day event.

The relevant sections in RFC2445 (http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc2445.txt)

    * 4.3.4: Date
    * 4.3.5: Date-Time
    * 4.6.1: Event component 

are not especially clear on whether to create whole-day events. Whether
Opengroupware.org should use the DATE or DATE-TIME type for whole-day events
depends on a couple of factors:

    * A national holiday like Christmas Eve should definitely use the DATE-type,
because Christmas Eve's absolute DTSTART and DTEND values depend on the
Timezone. In effect Christmas Eve starts at 00:00 no matter which timezone
you're in.
    * If, for example, someone is unavailable for one whole day, it's better to
use DATE-TIME. That way people would know when that person becomes available, no
matter what timezone they're in.
    * Events that span several days, like vacation on the Caribbean should
probably be defined with the DATE-TIME-type for the same reason as above.

Hello,

I just reported a bug that seems to be related to this one. All-day events
exported by Zidestore are missing the last day in KOrganizer. See

KOrganizer interprets the DTSTART/DTEND values correctly (as it appears to me),
but if the X-MICROSOFT-CDO-ALLDAYEVENT:TRUE line is present, it removes one day
at the end such that events spanning only one day disappear completely!

To me as an end-user it appears that the only problem is in the Microsoft
extension (because KOrganizer and OpenGroupware seem to share the same notion of
when an all-day-event begins and ends), but I guess it is more complex than
that. I have to admit that at this point, I begin to be slightly confused about
what the correct iCal syntax is.

when clicking on a document listed in the versions tab in a database based project, then ogo crahses every time.

The systemd is a amd64, running SLES10SP1, x86_64. Also ogo is in 64Bit mode.
