Actually libFoundation upstream (svn/ThirdParty/trunk/libFoundation aka v1.1.5) contains the check. I've 
tagged that version (ThirdParty/releases/libFoundation-1.1.5).

We'll need to wait whether the packages build fine, then we could merge the vendor branch to SOPE.
