I tried this on a -trunk version after 1.1.7, x86_64 on a SLES10SP1, but it did
not crash.
Also tried with a -trunk version after 1.1.7 on i386 OpenBSD, but it did not
crash too.

Either I assume there is a problem with your version, but as 1.1.7 is out for a
while, I assume there is still sth. strange with your installation.

which versions of sope, and libFoundation do you have installed?
