I added this:
Defaults write NSGlobalDomain SkyPublicExtendedJobAttributes '( {key=test}, 
{key=test2; type=3;} )'

and the fields showed up here:
- when creating a new job
- in the job editor
- in the configure view of the job attribuetes viewer
- in the job attributes viewer, if enabled

they are missing in:
- the task attributes editor

the values do not get saved
