Notably this is marked _Optional_, so to work with arbitary GroupDAV  
server you must not rely on it and deal with errors and then  
providing a proper fallback.

I don't think so. ZideStore supports some queries but I don't think  
this specific one.

The DASL support should be pretty complete and can be found in SOPE/ 
sope-appserver/NGObjWeb/WebDAV.

Inside ZideStore DASL queries are represented as EOControl objects  
(EOFetchSpecification / EOQualifier / EOSortOrdering).

EMail is preferred since it makes the information flow easily  
accessible and avoids unnecessary DUPs.

PS: GroupDAV questions are better placed on the groupdav list since  
it also affects other server vendors.
