You need to have gnustep-make for compilation, you just don't need to  
source GNUstep.sh. Probably SOPE did that for you automagically and  
installed some .GNUstep tree inside the source tree?
Do a "ls -la" and check whether there is a GNUstep tree, and patch  
that PCH flag in its config.make.
