SOPE should work fine with GNUstep base, though we provide no  
precompiled packages for GNUstep. (so you need to fetch the source  
and build it)

OGo might not yet work with GNUstep base, this is work in progress.

I have no idea about Chinese requirements, but PostgreSQL should work  
just fine. SOPE has a MySQL adaptor, but the PostgreSQL one is much  
better tested.
