I took a quick look what sogo provides on packages, the only supported 
distribution is RHEL5/i386. there are also gnustep-make and gnustep-base 
rpms in the downlaod directory. Well, don't know whether they maintain a 
bunch of own patches, or whether this is just the plain version from the 
gnustep svn.
I don't know what all is needed to maintain a ABI stable GNUstep release 
branch and how much work this would be.
- defining what has to work in a given way
- writing testcases to test new unstable releases
- backporting new features, testing, fixing again...
- what else?
