Exactly. So what? :-) Just turn the String object into a URL object  
and display the necessary parts.

By using different type's for URIs, you just replicate typing  
functionality already contained in the URI. What is harder, letting  
all clients know about all types we invent or just use the already  
available parsers and documented URI scheme? ;-)
