Hm, yes. But the proper way to do this is to expose the LDAP record
associated with the current account. So its in the same category
(check login account numbers).
The dialer should not have special code to query LDAP, IMHO. Unless
of course its a dialer for a specific PBX with some for of embedded
directory.
BTW: can Asterisk be configured to extract phone numbers from the OGo
SQL database? That would be quite cool! :-)
