Hello to this list!
A brief introduction: I'm a business owner with an interest in IT as a
hobby, enough to now have my business network connected to a Linux server.
We've been running Opengroupware, with 8 users connected, since Feb of this
year. I use the OGO Webui everyday to help run my business, which is nothing
to do with IT, so I have much experience as an end user. I also have a test
Linux server at home. Realistically I guess I'm still a newbie to Linux,
though learning fast.
I think there is enough difference, both in words and spelling, to make UK
English a separate translation to what I presume to be American English. I
have already changed some of the strings files, eg to change "Zip" to
"Postcode", and "State" to "County", in addresses. I'd be happy to help in
preparing this translation.
Now, how do you spell "favourite"............. ;-)
Holidays *should* be treated separately, if only for the reason that if you
do business internationally, as I do sometimes, it's helpful to be able to
see (when you want to) holidays in other countries, if only to understand
why no-one is answering the phone!
Not sure how to begin. With Chris H's list of strings files?
