Greetings G.R.S
The documentation project is currently in need of very talented
contributors. You know please who can type..:)
Seriously, there is a lot that needs to be done. Here is a partial todo
list.
1. Collect the various installation notes, for the various distro's
2. Proof them to determine if they are correct and current
3. Once proofed, documentation needs to be submitted for review for
grammatical issues to review editors
4. Upon approval docs will be published in a new archive I have setup.
The same process needs to to be done for
FAQ's
HowTo's
Tutorial's
Reference Links
Error reports
Glossary.
videos <--- for Kelly G..:)
Currently implementing a "clone" of the following
http://plone.org/documentation for our use (plus videos) .
This facility will be for approved docs only and users will be
restricted. As I just installed it, ie: tonight, I need a few days to
sort it out and get familiar with its mechanics, workflow and user input
mechanism. All docs posted will be under a creative commons with
restriction license.
docs.opengroupware.org is a great treasure trove of data, and
contributor's are greatly appreciated for using it. However its very
outdated software now, needs a software update and upgrade, and as I
dont want to break it, its easier to migrate data from that facility to
an update version that is already build and in place.
As always comments ideas and contributed insights (negative or positive)
are always welcomed to the list please.
regards and thanks for your interest.
