I knew OpenGroupware from FOSDEM, and it looked like an option to me. The system that I had to put in place had to be either a Centos 5 o RHEL 5, so I choosed Centos 5. After looking around I had several things to do to have it working (specially regarding the apache module) I decided to write an specific document for Centos5, just in case anybody else may need it. It's on docs.opengroupware.org. If you see something wrong with it, don't hesitate to let me know so I can fix it. regards Jordi -- Jordi Molina Casas (warp3r) mail: warp3r@2shifted.com www: www.warp3r.com From documentation@opengroupware.org Thu Aug 30 20:14:32 2007 From: documentation@opengroupware.org (Adam Tauno Williams) Date: Thu, 30 Aug 2007 15:14:32 -0400 Subject: [OGo-Documentation] Hello from a newcomer In-Reply-To: <647a40580708300757s3b1bac42h746a28a49e2c2fca@mail.gmail.com> References: <647a40580708300757s3b1bac42h746a28a49e2c2fca@mail.gmail.com> Message-ID: <1188501272.5274.63.camel@aleph.wmmi.net> --=-/loRaTi7mCvw8TfW8fjs Content-Type: text/plain Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable > My name is Jordi Molina, I'm a system administrator since year 2000 > and it turned out that I had to install OpenGroupware at my workplace > as there was no collaboration software there yet. Excellent; welcome. > I decided to write an specific document for Centos5, just in case > anybody else may need it. BTW, I believe the current TRUNK builds, and thus 1.1.8 whenever it comes out, no longer need diddling with the Apache module to work with 2.2.x. If you haven't run across it yet I have the gathered up a bunch of administration information in http://docs.opengroupware.org/Members/whitemice/wmogag/ Comments and criticisms welcome. --=-/loRaTi7mCvw8TfW8fjs Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name=signature.asc Content-Description: This is a digitally signed message part -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.5 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQBG1xcYLRePpNle04MRAnMFAJ0XdEASC5xhLY7CMriYRiALL7Wo/ACfVh1l w4nx7z/7EL4uDdizsvdVm9Y= =Y1GK -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --=-/loRaTi7mCvw8TfW8fjs--
