[OGo-Evolution] exchange<->opengroupware webdav compatibility layer

Hello,

we have been thinking about the evolution-OGo connector and came up with
the idea to use the Novell connector for evolution<->exchange and build
a compatibility layer to allow it to connect to OGo.

Both use WebDAV and although I haven't looked into the details yet I
think it will be possible to translate between OGo and exchange WebDAV.

The layer would be implemented as a WebDAV daemon/client, evolution
connects to the layer and the layer translates and sends it to OGo.
This would make the layer relatively simple, as it just translates
WebDAV request. The entire part of communicating with evolution is
handled by the Novell connector which would be used without changes.

What do you think if this idea? Has anyone already started something
like this? Any comments are welcome.
