But.. I am starting a new effort to make it clearer, more transparent
and easier to modify (parts of it).

Good. We work on debian sarge based systems too.

Is the GPL incompatible with OGo library?
If you take code from ex2ogo it has to be GPL.. but I could ask whether
we can bring out an LGPL'd version if that is useful for you.
