i compiled today all evolution 2.2.1 (data server 1.2.1)  from unbutu on my debian sarge.  

in general the evo-groupdav (0.2) connector works.

Only the addition of contacts make trouble. Instead of the correct data only the internal id of the record is showed after you restart evolution. The same happen
when you copy an existing contact. 

Editing the contact works after..
