Yes, this needs to be done, but it may be a bit hard since OGo
gstep-make has changes which need to be merged and which may conflict
with "official" GNUstep make policies.
It also contains some workarounds around "weird" bugs we found during
package building on some old distributions.
Also I definitely want to keep a "proven" gstep-make in CVS, GNUstep
make wasn't very stable in the past changing a lot of things like
pathes which are certainly important for GNUstep in it's state, but
would break too much code considered stable in OGo.
So I would suggest that we find a way where the OGo sources work with
the OGo gstep-make and with the "official" GNUstep make packages at the
same time.
Does gstep-make allow USER_ROOT=SYSTEM_ROOT=LOCAL_ROOT ? (aka a
--with-user-root configure option ?).
