Hi list,

hoping this is the appropriate place to post to (:
running ./compile to confiugre the opengroupware.org sources for compiling
breaks on OpenBSD.

I have it in this bug report:
http://bugzilla.opengroupware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1532

the problem is the following:
in the configure script there is a make -s ...
but unfortunately in OpenBSD is this make command the BSD make and not the GNU
make. the GNU make is called gmake in OpenBSD.

I added a patch that fixes this problem to the bug report. but i need to
recreate it because the patch adds -liconv to the libraries that the linktest
function uses to test for the needed libraries. But as helge told me I only
need to add -liconv in makefile.conf in the gnustep environment.

on one side the ./configure is not really needed, but would be great to have
it working, just for completeness, so i would be happy to reopen the bug and
submit a new patch, without -liconv for the configure file.

or is there an other way to somehow tell the gnustep-environment to use the
gmake instead of make.

kind regards
sebastian

PS: the same happens to the configure script of sope, but unfortunately the
linking against openssl doesn't work (haven't figured out what actually the
problem is because sope compiles and works well, or does it not need openssl
at all?)
