OK, not sure why forwarding kicks in here. Could be some EOFault,
though it shouldn't. Would be nice to know what triggers the
forwarding (since the stack is b0rked, one would need to step through
the app and get to the point ...)

Which is correct and the same on lF/Cocoa.
