Tabitha,
Are you using GDL2? We found it easier to work with AJR, GDL2 was too
different from EOF (it may have changed though). AJR is an open
source Objective C clone of EOF, available (only through cvs I
believe) from:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/ajrdatabase/
AJR has everything we need: EOAccess, EOControl, adaptors (AJR also
includes an EOModeler clone which still has some problems, but can be
used and is compatible with the EOModeler of WebObjects). We
submitted a few bug fixes, but we are generally very happy with the
SOPE+AJR combination. We haven't used them on complex database
schemas yet.
