From macosx@opengroupware.org Mon Dec 1 05:36:45 2008 From: macosx@opengroupware.org (Mitchel Roider) Date: Sun, 30 Nov 2008 21:36:45 -0800 Subject: [OGo-MacOSX] Adaptor configuration questions Message-ID: <2C2FDAC1-683A-4D6D-B33B-975542B7503F@roider.org> So now that I have the apache adaptor working I have three questions. I know I have been spoiled by Monitor for too long. :-) 1. What is the best way to configure the same app to run multiple instances on different ports? 2.What is the best way to do a simple round robin distribution of incoming requests, per session? 3.What is the best way to specify a different host/port combo so the web apps are running on a different server? Thanks in advance.... There is also snsd (session name service daemon), but its a commercial part of Skyrix. It directly connects with the instances. I think haproxy/Pound have other advantages (much more flexible).
