Message-ID: <481BDD04.7090005@shineonline.co.nz> Hi All, I've compiled SOPE in Xcode but can't see any notes on how to start it from within XCode. Am running Leopard 10.5.2 and XCode 3.0. Clicking "Go" just results in the message "No launchable executable present at path". I'm using sope-trunk-r1621-200805011100 and there is no SOPEX project in the download which earlier posts refer to. By the way there were errors on compiling both calendar.jsm and WEDropScript.jsm in the WEExtensions project. I just commented out the contents of these files; figured I'd come back and get this part working later. Thank you Stephen From macosx@opengroupware.org Wed May 7 16:10:02 2008 From: macosx@opengroupware.org (=?ISO-8859-1?Q?Marcus_M=FCller?=) Date: Wed, 7 May 2008 17:10:02 +0200 Subject: [OGo-MacOSX] Starting SOPE on OS X - how? The SOPE:X project is in /sopex/SOPEX. There is nothing to start, however. You need the Xcode project templates, located in /sopex/Templates in order to create SOPE:X projects that you can start from Xcode etc. > By the way there were errors on compiling both calendar.jsm and > WEDropScript.jsm in the WEExtensions project. Yes, that seems to be a problem of current Xcode (Xcode 3.x) - in Xcode 2.x these files were never picked up, but it's safe to remove them from the build altogether anyways. A word of warning: I have a modified current version of SOPE:X lying around here that I don't find the time for to polish and get ready for commit. It's pretty much possible that the Xcode project templates which are in svn/trunk currently don't work out of the box any longer. However, there are several changes within Xcode 3.x that make quite a lot of hacks within the templates obsolete right now (SDK-relative referencing etc.). You'll need quite a bit of motivation in order to keep everything setup and running. ;-) Cheers, Marcus -- Marcus Mueller . . . crack-admin/coder ;-) Mulle kybernetiK . http://www.mulle-kybernetik.com Current projects: http://www.mulle-kybernetik.com/znek/ --Apple-Mail-57--62431582 Content-Type: text/html; charset=US-ASCII Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
