Frank,
Thank you for your quick reply!
I am new to Linux so please excuse me for any silly questions:
- Can you tell me what to modify in the '/etc/postfix/main.cf' file to get
Outlook to work with OpenGroupware? Is it necessary to add specific IP
addresses; we have people working from their home offices using DSL lines
without fixed IP addresses. Also, we would like to be able to send SMTP email
(e.g., using authentication) with our Treo smartphones while we are on the road.

This is the default behaviour in order to prevent nasty people from
using your installation as a mail relay.
You can get rid of this message by editing the file
'/etc/postfix/main.cf' and adding the hosts/nets that may use your
installation as relay (requires that you restart postfix afterwards).
