No offense, but I think you are missing that the initial poster has an 
installation of Instant-OGo, not an arbitary Linux server.

This implies three things:
a) the initial posting has nothing to do with this list ;-)
b) the email setup stuff for the most usual options is covered
    by the Instant-OGo admin interface
c) he can/should ask Skyrix support for help, not an OGo list since
    OGo != Instant-OGo, especially when in comes to standard services
