If so, could you please post them here. I tried on another machine - the original one is known to have had problems with scripting in IE in the past. However I get the same behaviour again. I get the mail folder tree, but nothing in the right hand panels. Also the calendar panel doesn't show. IE is 7.0.5730.11 I did see a javascript error once, but now can't reproduce. From memory it was from line 700 and something (possibly around 748), and said the server had 'gone away' or similar. Firefox is fine, so it can't be network or firewall issue at the location. > > The timezone error > > > > Dec 31 12:39:37 sogod-0.9 [20243]: > > <0x0x9d104f8[NGMimeRFC822DateHeaderFieldParser]> WARNING: failed to > > parse > > RFC822 timezone: 'EST' (value='Fri, 21 Dec 2007 12:00:47 EST') > > > > Is still appearing using Firefox, but was a red herring. > > You can safely ignore this for now. > > Thanks, > > Ludo > -- > INVERSE, > Une division de KEYRUS > A KEYRUS company > > T: (514) 989-2000, ext. 2800 > C: (514) 755-3630 > ludovic@inverse.ca > www.inverse.ca > > AVIS - Ce courriel pourrait contenir des renseignements > confidentiels ou privilegies. Now SOGo installation seems to be good, I've added Funambol. First goal is to populate a SOGo user from Outlook using the Funambol outlook connector. Just one way for the moment. Contacts worked a treat. So this is looking good!! I can use from Outlook (even without the 2007 Q4 mapi connector!!!), I can use from my phone, and have a great webgui in SOGo. I'd played with the funambol groupdav connector and OGo. But never got it working satisfactorily. This is looking much better :) But Calendar data is problematic. It does appear in the database, and on the SOGo webgui it shows in the top pane (list of events). But shows with an end time, but no start time. And the events don't appear in the bottom calendar pane (presumably because they have no start time). I first tried with Funambol 6.5GA, subsequently downgraded to 6.0 in case this was causing a problem, but results are the same. I saw some errors in the funambol logs about not being able to find users timezone, so have been careful since then to make sure user's timezone is set. Below is the Funambol log, attempting to sync one calendar event into a completely clean SOGo database (with timezone set). Result is a calendar entry listed on the gui, correct title, an end time (that is actually the start time) and with no start time. These patches update sope and ogo to use the gnustep-2 makefiles. The Makefiles are much more readable now, as the FHS stuff is mostly gone as the gnustep-makefiles provide the ability to install into arbitrary paths now very well. As sogo is based on sope, the makefiles have to be changed too. As I did update the makefiles for sope and ogo, I could do this easily for sogo too, should be done in some hours. What I cannot do is creating a package that might be necessary then for gnustep-make 2. any objections on this? let me know and I could start updating the makefiles. cheers Sebastian From sogo@opengroupware.org Wed Jan 2 21:51:29 2008 From: sogo@opengroupware.org (Sebastian Reitenbach) Date: Wed, 02 Jan 2008 22:51:29 +0100 Subject: [SOGo] compilation error on openbsd Message-ID: <20080102215129.BB7CD38083@smtp.l00-bugdead-prods.de> sogo@opengroupware.org wrote: > Hi, > > sogo@opengroupware.org wrote: > > On 2007-08-29 00:09:49 -0500 "Sebastian Reitenbach" > > wrote: > > > > > Hi, > > > > > > I'm on OpenBSD with GNUstep make 2.0.1 and base 1.14.0 and > > > sope-trunk-r1528, > > > gcc version 3.3.5 (propolice), ffcall-1.10. > > > > > > I got sogo from svn, with or without running ./configure, the > > > compilation > > > first stopped with the error: > > > > Hi Sebastian, > > > > > > At first site this looks like libFoundation is installed on your > > system. Yes, I ran the test having created a completely clean SOGo database, then selecting a jcobb timezone (Europe/London), then doing funambol sync to import the one calendar entry. I have looked at your yeah, despite Helge insits, that these are only hardcoded RELATIVE paths ;) discussion regarding this in the sope-dev mailing list and I am going to join it instead of discussing this here. I have a combined bunch of diffs for sope, including my gnustep-make patchess, and your sogo patchset from the SOPE dir in the sogo sources. I could send these to you offlist. Because of the hardcoded relative paths, it is only working for FHS installation, We have to define some sane relative subdirectory names that can be used for GNUstep based filesystem layouts. When we can agree on sth. before weekend, I think I can get all (sope/sogo/opengroupware) updated to be able to run in GNUstep filesystem layouts by the end of the weekend. but as you said, lets move to the developer@ list. cheers Sebastian > > -- > Wolfgang Sourdeau > T: +1 514 989-2000 ext. 2602 C: +1 514 755-3520 > > AVIS - Ce courriel pourrait contenir des renseignements confidentiels ou > privil=E9gi=E9s. I installed up to date Firefox on a new machine, and now the test calendar item appears on the lower calendar pane. And opening the item gives (of course) the correct start and end time. So it's only the upper list pane that is wrong - there appears to be a SOGo error that puts the start time in the end time column, and leaves the start time colunmn empty. But it's a front end issue. But.. Loading back all the appointments via Funambol now breaks the lower pane again. And from the command line output I can see SOGo keeps falling over and restarting. So on a guess I removed all appointments that recur (seemed the most likely to be causing a problem, particularly thinking back to Ogo and groupdav connector!) - and now everything works :) So I have three distinct problems: 1. The upper list of appointments is wrong - appears to be a SOGo Gui bug. 2. Recurring appointments aren't importing correctly via Funambol, and they then cause SOGo to crash. So a Funambol problem (probably), but also SOGo should catch the problem without crashing. Here's one of the appointments that causes this behaviour: | c_iscycle | c_cycleinfo | | 1 | {rules = ("FREQ=YEARLY;BYMONTH=2;COUNT=0"); } | And here's a recurring appointment created in SOGo, which works fine: | c_iscycle | c_cycleinfo | | 1 | {rules = ("INTERVAL=1;FREQ=YEARLY"); } | 3. The older Firefox was not displaying the test calendar item. On trying to replicate this, I've found that one item (non-recurring) shows in the lower pane only when highlighted in the upper pane. (Oddly my test recurring item created in SOGo shows in the lower pane all the time!) With the latest Firefox I don't get this behaviour - all works fine. Yes, because the SOGo connector is being migrated to use the webdav api provided by Lightning. But in your case, the problem is that Sunbird has no support whatsoever for addressbooks... so the connector is not even compatible but also nearly useless... We might add support for the few features available in Sunbird but really we target the Thunderbird/Lightning combo with that extension. -- Wolfgang Sourdeau T: +1 514 989-2000 ext. 2602 C: +1 514 755-3520 AVIS - Ce courriel pourrait contenir des renseignements confidentiels ou privil=C3=A9gi=C3=A9s. Hi, I'm in struggle with getting sogo running on my server. I've installed everything according to the howto. Versions: sope, sogo and mod_njobweb are from svn trunk sogo: revision 1316 sope and mod_ngobjweb: revision 1557 sope is patched with the sope-patchset-r1557.diff I read on the mailing list that it is possible to bypass the login for testing purposes. The Client PC is connected via vpn to the servers network. "bierstadt" is the intranet hostname of the server. My configuration is the following: /home/sogo/GNUstep/Defaults/.GNUstepDefaults: ######################################## NSGlobalDomain = { }; "sogod-0.9" = { AgenorProfileURL = "postgresql://sogo:sogo@127.0.0.1:5432/sogo/sogo_user_profile"; OCSFolderInfoURL = "postgresql://sogo:sogo@127.0.0.1:5432/sogo/sogo_folder_info"; SOGoAuthentificationMethod = bypass; SOGoServerTimeZone = Europe/Berlin; WOHttpAllowHost = 192.168.178.14; WOMessageUseUTF8 = YES; WOParsersUseUTF8 = YES; WOPort = 20000; }; ######################################## Unfortunately I get nothing more than the login screen (see sogod log on the bottom) I really want to get sogo running - any idea what is wrong here? What is this: NGInternetSocketAddress _fillHost]: host not found .. about? Any help is appreciated! I tried to get LDAP working, but I'm a real noob concerning LDAP. (although I think ldap might not be the only problem) Below my configuration. /etc/openldap/slapd.conf: ####################################### include /etc/openldap/schema/core.schema include /etc/openldap/schema/cosine.schema include /etc/openldap/schema/nis.schema include /etc/openldap/schema/inetorgperson.schema include /etc/openldap/schema/mozillaAbPersonAlpha.schema pidfile /var/run/openldap/slapd.pid argsfile /var/run/openldap/slapd.args allow bind_v2 database bdb suffix "dc=eiszeit,dc=blogdns,dc=net" checkpoint 32 30 # rootdn "cn=Manager,dc=eiszeit,dc=blogdns,dc=net" rootpw {MD5} directory /var/lib/openldap-data index objectClass eq loglevel 256 ###################################### Is this a valid ldif to start with? ############################################# # LDIF Export for: dc=eiszeit,dc=blogdns,dc=net # Generated by phpLDAPadmin ( http://phpldapadmin.sourceforge.net/ ) on January 7, 2008 4:24 pm # Server: eiszeit.blogdns.net (127.0.0.1) # Search Scope: sub # Search Filter: (objectClass=*) # Total Entries: 3 dn: dc=eiszeit,dc=blogdns,dc=net objectClass: top objectClass: organization objectClass: dcObject description: My personal LDAP Server o: eiszeit.blogdns.net dc: eiszeit dn: cn=SOGoUsers,dc=eiszeit,dc=blogdns,dc=net objectClass: posixGroup objectClass: top cn: SOGoUsers gidNumber: 1000 dn: cn=Ruben Jenster,cn=SOGoUsers,dc=eiszeit,dc=blogdns,dc=net objectClass: inetOrgPerson objectClass: posixAccount objectClass: top givenName: Ruben sn: Jenster cn: Ruben Jenster uid: ruben userPassword: {MD5} uidNumber: 1000 gidNumb ################################################ is bindDN the same as rootdn? bindDN = ""; it is neither working with with bindDN = "cn=Ruben Jenster,cn=SOGoUsers,dc=eiszeit,dc=blogdns,dc=net"; nor with bindDN = "cn=Manager,dc=eiszeit,dc=blogdns,dc=net"; Below is the output of sogod. Should the password be unencrypted in GNUstepDefaults? Is it possible to log in as 'ruben' with passwort when I have the following in .GNUstepDefaults ? ################################################### SOGoAuthentificationMethod = LDAP; SOGoLDAPSources = ( { CNFieldName = cn; IDFieldName = cn; UIDFieldName = uid; baseDN = "cn=SOGoUsers,dc=eiszeit,dc=blogdns,dc=net"; bindDN = "cn=Ruben Jenster,cn=SOGoUsers,dc=eiszeit,dc=blogdns,dc=net"; bindPassword = ; canAuthenticate = YES; hostname = localhost; id = private; port = 389; } ############################################### I really assume that something other than LDAP is faulty. (I tried to install gnustep on a centos 5 vm with the prepackaged packages but I there sogo can't connect to postgres) Any idea what's happening here? Have there any other special setting to be made apart from the ones for the ngobjweb-adaptor that are mentioned in the documentation? I installed a brand new CentOS 5 in vmware and installed the all-rpms.tar from the repository (excluding sope47-gdl1-oracle-4.7-1557.rhel5.2.i386.rpm) as well as the ldap and postgresql server.
