Not sure what you mean, the umlauts in the .strings files? If so, no,
because strings are not only used in a HTML context.
Or do you suggest that OGo should encode HTML strings using the
accented chars? In that case, yes, we might do this, not sure what the
gain is. HTML entities have the primary disadvantage that it makes it
harder to use in an XML context (because you need to declare the
entities, while you can always use { style character references).
