thanks for the feedback. i don't have outlook handy so it is doubly 
appreciated.

just for the record, i can't think of any use for suffix in italian, we would 
put the honorific title in the title field together with actual academic 
title, i.e. for a professional engineer:
    Dott. Ing. Rossi

as a non-native speaker i would have guessed incorrectly, as in:
Job title == P.Eng != Position == CTO

anyhow, i'm moving the discussion on user-it for the details and hopefully 
i'll come back with a patch ;)
