In general PostgreSQL 7.4 should be just fine for OGo (I think the  
adaptor is 7.2 and up). In fact I do use the standard 7.4.7 on Sarge  
for development.

Though its a possibility that the binary packages might link against  
a later version (resulting in [correct] warnings by apt).
