There appear to be several versions of packages. You expect users to
download all of them then figure out which to install?

Absolutely! See above. Also enjoy the degree to which it assists in
keeping systems patched efficiently and easily. Then recall the life of
hell that is RPM dependancies.
They are no trouble. On the user side it is way way less trouble. On the
repo side it isn't that much trouble. Just setup a cronjob like
0 */4 * * * createrepo -q /var/www/html/ks/fedora/linux/ucd/5/x86_64

Thanks. I started by clicking "Install" on the nav bar and got spun
out.=20
It's certainly not very painless to get info out of that plone. There
seems to be a lot there, but no overall organization.
