No, not at all.

But now I realized something else. In the browser I open 
"http://192.168.1.250" (which is fileserver.company.net) but the server 
itself creates the links as "http(s)://fileserver.company.net".

Maybe this helps a little bit.

The end result should be that the users can connect with the IP address.
