This is a path issue;  the daemon is not finding the database adaptor.

This is provided by SOPE;  mine sits
in /usr/local/lib/sope-4.6/dbadaptors

Maybe try creating a sym-link to wherever the PostgreSQL.gdladaptor
folder actually got dumped [by "make install"].

Nope, all of that is fine.

Maybe being 64bit changes the path?
