You need to build the module,  which probably requires the OGo source.
But once the module is built all you should need to do is copy the
resulting bundle into the appropriate location (and restart the
service).  There is no need to rebuild *all* of OGo,  OGo scans for
bundles when it starts and loads those it discovers.

That isn't going to happen,  that isn't how OGo is managed / configured.
Use the provided tools,  they work very well.  Anyway,  the default
values need to be appropriate to your site / configuration.  The
