Note sure about the umlaut thing, but to OGo this filename is a  
version filename, eg:

   abc.txt   => regular entry
   abc.txt;5 => retrieve version 5 of abc.txt
or your example
   Präsentationsvorlage.otp => file "Pra&#776", version  
sentationsvorlage.otp

Possibly something is wrong with umlauts/entity conversion, but the  
locking issue is probably due to the ";" of the generate entity which  
is then interpreter by the file manager.
