Well, you should probably install FireBug to debug the JavaScript.  
Well, and $F is a prototype function.

Anyways:

    <var:component className="SkyTextEditor"
	name="aptcomment"

should probably be
	const:name="aptcomment"

(aptcomment should be passed in as-is, its not a binding). But its  
trivial to check stuff like that in the HTML ...
