Sounds very like a bug in Sunbird since the status of the calendar at
startup effects the outcome.

I don't think are are any signficant CalDAV related changes in that
span.

Would need to see the exchange between ZideStore & Sunbird to really
tell much.  You could open bugs and attach a trace as an attachment.
