Thats incorrect. If processing requires it (and the ulimit allows  
it), ZideStore will consume more memory. And restart after the memory  
intensive operation completes.

Well, and yes, restarts are to avoid big vmems due to caching. Or  
leaks. Whatever, it increases stability to restart now and then :-)

PS: the operating system not necessarily frees memory which is freed  
by the application. So even if there are no leaks, applications not  
necessarily shrink in memory size.
