Nope, I think we are actually worse off now than we were in 2003 when
at least the Evolution Exchange connector worked. Besides
GroupDAV:Thunderbird and GroupDAV:Funambol there really isn't anything
an end-user can use.

I suppose beyond saying that this belongs over on discuss@. :)

My suspicion is that the interest level in client/server groupware for
LINUX is very very low; most groupware *users* are on Windows since
groupware is primarily a corporate thing, and the WebUI is "good enough"
to not create an itch that urgently needs to be scratched. I've gotten
a total of one e-mail about the stuff I've created [which admittedly
isn't great stuff] but does demonstrate a low interest level.

Beyond that I think the groupware genre as a whole, and especially
OpenGroupware, have done a really lousy job promoting itself/themselves.
(which is admittedly tough since there is a large population that
doesn't "get" groupware).

But I'll be back to hacking on Consonance -
http://code.google.com/p/consonance/ - over the holidays and hopefully I
can iron out the last two crasher bugs. :)
