Sorry don't know anything about installing specifically on etch. There
is -
http://docs.opengroupware.org/Members/cboulanger/ogo-postgresql-phppgadmin-=
debian-etch/view and http://docs.opengroupware.org/Members/brianaustin2019/=
Opengroupware%20on%20Etch%20with%20Funambol/view

Also be sure to check out -
http://docs.opengroupware.org/Members/whitemice/wmogag/view - for an
explanation of OGo versions.

You need to add a repository for SOPE; OGo is built on the SOPE
application server which includes libFoundation.

Of course it is always easier to just download and install the packages
and not futz around with all the apt/yum/zypp/{add-thingy-here}
repository crap.

You can probably just grab the files from here -
http://download.opengroupware.org/releases/unstable/opengroupware-1.1.7-clo=
se/etch/binary-i386/ - and here - http://download.opengroupware.org/release=
s/unstable/sope-4.7.1-fwd/etch/binary-i386/ - and install them.  They're ar=
en't many odd dependencies; pilot-link is the only package a standard serv=
er install might not have.
