Subject: [OGo-Users] FC6 Install
Hi, I'm trying to get a test Opengroupware server set up on FC6. The web
site mentions up to FC3, but, looking around the downloads area I found
what looks like a yum repository called Trunk for FC6 here ->
http://download.opengroupware.org/nightly/packages/fedora-core6/trunk/
I hope this is the right one. When I use it, with the 'meta' package,
the install fails on dependency's on libfoundation and sope45.
Libfoundation and sope47 rpm's are in that same directory, so I'm a bit
confused about how this repository is configured.
The Thirdparty directory in the "releases" repository is empty so I
didn't bother with it. I guess this might all get put right on the next
nightly build.
I'm keen to hear from any FC6 users, especially if there is a more
appropriate repository to use. I noticed some posts on the forum where
there is mention of a yum.repo setup referencing separate repositories
for sope and libfoundation/thirdparty - would that type of configuration
be better?
Assuming I do get it to install, are there some directions on getting it
configured? I don't have Postgre on the machine yet - if I put that on
first will the .rpm's create the right databases?
Many thanks
Ken
