[OGo-Users] Questions regarding skyaptnotify

Hi all,

I'm having trouble with skyaptnotify. The cronjob seems to be running
fine and does not produce any errors:

Jan 21 20:00:01 skyaptnotify [19426]: Note: storing cached vCards files
in: '/var/lib/opengroupware.org/documents'
Jan 21 20:00:01 skyaptnotify [19426]: account::change-password: using
password field: 'userPassword'
Jan 21 20:00:01 skyaptnotify [19426]: Note: members of role team 'team
creators' are allowed to create teams.
Jan 21 20:00:02 skyaptnotify [19426]: Note: PostgreSQL72 adaptor using
timezone 'GMT+1' as default

However, no email is sent (no errors are in mail log either) and the
"sent-resources" file specified in the Defaults remains empty. The
AptNotifySendmailPath in ogo's defaults is correct. How could I proceed
with debugging?

Also, I'm having some questions about how skyaptnotify works *exactly*.
According to WMOGAG-K, skyaptnotify sends "reminder e-mails concerning
upcoming appointments".

- How far does it look ahead?
- Does it send to participants only - or to all people, who have read
access for the appointment?
- Does it send for any appointment - or only, if one selected a reminder
option when creating the appointment?
- If we would like to send automatic emails shortly after *creating* any
event - would that be possible with skyaptnotify?

Thanks for any answer (and sorry for my frequent questions on this list).

Regards,
